The NOUS (uNdersea visiOn sUrveillance System) is a pioneering underwater surveillance system. Through a network of high-definition underwater cameras that operate continuously, the system ensures the continuous surveillance of ancient shipwrecks and essentially supports their protection.

The system has already been installed at the ancient shipwrecks of Peristera, Skantzoura and Fagkrou, creating a comprehensive monitoring network in the Alonissos – Northern Sporades National Marine Park.

Through real-time live image transmission, the system makes underwater cultural heritage not only accessible to divers but also directly available to the broader public who do not dive, enabling remote viewing of unique images of ancient shipwrecks and the impressive marine life that surrounds them.
