Certification Seminars for AUAS Dive Guides

Certification Seminars for AUAS Dive Guides

The Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities organizes an annual seminar every May to certify dive guides for the Accessible Underwater Archaeological Sites (AUAS). The program is intended for professional recreational scuba and/or free-diving guides.

Its purpose is to train participants to accompany and guide scuba or free-diving visitors at designated AUAS sites, such as Alonnisos (Peristera) and Western Pagasetic (Kikinthos, Tilegrafos, Glaros), in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in their respective operating regulations.

The seminar is held in May each year.

Full attendance throughout the seminar is required for candidates to be included in the official list of certified AUAS dive guides maintained by the EUA.
