The Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities is pioneering, opening to the general public the first accessible underwater archaeological sites in Greece, in Alonissos and the Western Pagasetic Gulf.
We offer certified divers the adventure of exploring ancient shipwrecks and, at the same time, we bring the same experience out of the water, making it accessible to everyone through impressive virtual diving (VR) and unique digital applications.

The Knowledge Awareness Centers (KACs) are innovative museum spaces that utilize modern technologies to make underwater heritage accessible to all. Through impressive virtual dives (VR), photos, videos, and interactive media, they offer a comprehensive experience that functions either as a complement to diving or as a standalone, exciting visit.
